An area of Aberdeenshire Scotland encompassing spectacular country landscapes and the picturesque coastal villages of Gardenstown and Crovie.

Built into the old red sandstone cliffs the villages have a quaint atmosphere. From the lovely harbour and beaches you can look out over the Moray Firth and perhaps catch a glimpse of the dolphins that often swim in the bay or experience one of the stunning sunsets.

Our Head Chef produces an array of delicious dishes from fresh local produce which includes Aberdeenshire beef and North Sea fish.

Lunch and dinner are served daily in the Balvenie Lounge Bar and Montcoffer Dining Room.

The Balvenie Lounge Bar has an informal, comfortable feel with soft seats and an open fire in winter. The Montcoffer Dining Room is a light, spacious room with stunning views over our gardens to the Deveron Valley below and Montcoffer Woods, for which it is named, above.

The local area offers visitors a wealth of activities and leisure options that will suit all ages and abilities.

The Moray Firth is a haven for wildlife. Seals, dolphins and whales can often be seen from the shoreline. Alternatively for those wishing to get a little closer, Guide Charter Cruises offer various services that will enable you to take to the sea and explore.

The golfing enthusiast will be spoilt for choice with a fantastic selection of courses, all within a short driving distance of Banff.
